Run down, dirty, cold, broken plumbing, bloked sink, rusty old toilet, holes in walls, holes in doors, dirty carpets, peeling paint, people smoking in rooms with smell coming in, noisy from other rooms that exhoed through the ventilation system, the lift was broken, there were carpet tiles missing from the floor all over the hotel.
And the man on reception each night was the rudest most arrogant man I have ever met. I asked for asi. He could have gone to the kitchen to get one as I saw there were cups in the cupboards visible the day before. But instead he shouted at me "Non". I mean he actually raised his voice and shouted.
I had to change room 3 times and even the third room was shocking. I don't think anyone from Accor management has checked the standards of this hotel in years. It is a disgrace. I regularly travel to France for business. I joined Accor programme because I thought Accor meant that all their hotels met a standard that I could assume was okay.
But this experiencehas made me question how reliably I can have faith in the Accor brand. I am deeply disappointed by this experience and will now reevaluate whether my next stay inFrance is at an Accor hotel or another provider. To start I must say reception people were very helpful and nice. The hotel itself however Rooms were quite bleak, bathroom just the same. Cheap hotel shouldn't mean state of disrepair, with furniture and walls looking old, cracked and dirty.
Bathroom has several moldy looking spots and despite smelling like it had been cleaned with chemicals, everything was in need of a way deeper scrub and patching up. It's like Accor completely forgot they own this hotel. Location is also basically just accessible with a car. It was the worse hotel I did ever stay in. When we arrive there was police there because of some arguing between a couple of others guest. We did have to wait a long time before getting out room keycard. Even we did check in online.
