Having to forego a HUGE part of the GAME in this game, you know, half the game is the missions for your companions, because Larian decided that you should "ignore the companions if you are a 4-player party and play with the companions in a solo or 2 player party" is not only ignorant, but it is downright rude to the players that want to experience this game in its entirety.
TTRPG campaigns that last for more than a few weeks OFTEN in my experience have players dropping out character death, changed schedules, what-have-you and new players come in to take their place. And to make matters worse, the big guy at Larian is all "just ignore the companions"???? Talk about a "Don't you all have cell phones? EPIC friggin fail.

Just, you know, i'm full up friend. Best of luck. Felt the same at the start of BG2 when playing with a full custom team. Options to turn the party members down were also rude there for no reason. The arbitrary wall that Larian has placed on party size, as well as locking characters into a party that once in the game cannot ever be removed, is absurd. In a game with so many options, this was an oversight that needs to be corrected. As it stands its not fun to play with a full party of friends if you are locked from doing things you otherwise could by yourself. Last edited by jsauce ; 19 Aug, pm.
