You just disproved your point. Not everyone has same reaction times just like not everyone has same physical abilities. Time and effort is useless in sport if you are not born with the physical abilities and skills needed for that sport. There is no human on the planet with a 1s reaction time. If you can see out of your eyeballs and stare at a screen for 18 hours a day, then time and effort is all that matters. Clearly, you do not work in special education.

Practice and work improves your skills to make you even better but you need to be born with those abilities. From your logic, anyone that practice sprinting and running should be as good as Usain Bolt. Sprinting is completely different than basketball btw.

Vanilla WoW is designed to parallel real life in a way not entirely obvious. It is what makes Azeroth feel like a real place in which we are living. I enjoy that immersion. Chores that soak up time. Each major event requires grinding and tedious preparation so that we may be adequately prepared and equipped. I like it. It is why, even now nearly 20 years later, the zones evoke an emotional response. Theyre hall of famers. Not everybody gets into the hall of fame. They did something better than everyone else in their sport and had the naturally born gifts to do it.
Basketball is not a natural gift. Basketball is a learned skill. Shooting, dribbling, defense⦠those are not things you are born with. Playing WoW is not a natural gift, either. You learn the encounters through practice.
