Archie on Thursday. Jett stated she was sitting in the living room with Archie and their one year-old son and a friend. Jett stated that the friend took the son outside and upon them leaving the room Archie walked over and began squeezing her cheeks, slapping her and choking her.
Jett states she attempted to defend herself and Archie then threw her against a table in the kitchen. Jett further stated she tried to pick up her phone to call and Archie grabbed the phone from her to prevent her from calling Jett states she managed to get to a landline phone at which point Archie fled from the house in a vehicle. Deputies were unable to locate Archie and his whereabouts are unknown. Jett was not injured during the attack, however did request a temporary protection order be issued through Marietta Municipal Court.
A warrant for domestic violence and disrupting public services is being requested through the Marietta Municipal Court on Preston V. Archie, 25, of Millbranch Road, Belpre. The purse was recovered and information was forward to the law enforcement agency in the area the lady lived. Arrangements are being made to return the items to the lady. This case is closed. Dugan had been in a Fearing Township shooting a weapon and states the weapon misfired shooting him in the hand.
No foul play is suspected and the case is marked as closed. Howell, State Route 26, reported a Toyota Tacoma stolen. A later report revealed the vehicle had been located in Monroe County. No foul play is suspected and the case is closed. No further action is required. The owner advised that someone had forged six checks on the account of Stoked Coffee. The checks were mobile deposited.
