Over the walks, you can discover beautiful houses with towers and half-timbered, and a typical architecture of the region. Amid these monuments, the presence of a very rich historical and cultural heritage is a plus for the city that once was royal, evidenced by the remains of its castle.
But Montargis is also an important gastronomic heritage, including the famous praline. This small brown grainy shell enveloping a toasted almond was invented in by a mouth officer.
