Bumble was meant to be emancipating for women but instead it just gives men the ability to choose and discard. I believe all the dating sites are owned by much bigger companies with global reach. Go with your gut. Just meeting for a coffee is a good place to start. Be aware that once the sites get their claws into you, they might flood you with emails months after you cease paying. They are looking for relationship weakness or relationship ending so you will hopefully sign up again and pay. I met dp on ourtime, he was my third date off there but I'd been doing different types of dating sites for a while. I was 51 then and thought I'd like to be a hot young thing on a site for once I tried fitness singles I honestly think most of the men barely leave the sofa on that site, it was verging on comical.
