As a courtesy to you, we will bill your insurance carrier for you; however, we cannot tell you what your policy will cover. Since your insurance policy and coverage are between you and your carrier, we urge you to contact them before your procedure. You will be responsible for any co-pays and deductibles. We accept cash, check or credit card. Terrible experience. I scheduled a colonoscopy to get my HSA fully funded.
When I was scheduling I explicitly asked if my consultation would be covered as preventative care, and explained the reason I was getting the procedures was to fund my HSA. The lady put me on hold to ask and came back saying under no uncertain terms the consultation would be fully covered.
Then they proceeded to go back on what they had assured me before, saying that the consolation was not covered. It was a complete waste of time. This score is specifically for the billing department. Following my procedure, I wrote a highly positive review for Dr. I stand by that. However, I do not stand by the woman to whom I just spoke with. I paid my bill up front. For some reason I continue to receive small bills for this or that. If adjustments need to be made, that is fine.
