I have stayed too often in totally characterless chain hotels. My room was warm and comfortable and charmingly eccentric in it's details. Shower was great - really hot and powerful. It's quiet but very convenient for all the museums and cultural spaces I wanted to get to. I can't recommend it enough - unless you want everything to be brand new. Firstly the location near Pont de Neuilly is excellent , just a few minutes walk from teh metro. It is located in a fantastic area with restaurants and supermarket.
The hotel itself was spotlessly clean and teh room I had on the ground floor was excellent. Modern decor, with electronic shutters, which alongside teh double glazed windows meant I did not get any street noise in teh evening. AirCon worked great as well.
