New volunteer training uses lecture, real life stories and small group exercises so you will learn how to provide practical help and emotional support to those with life limiting illness and their loved ones. At the end of this in-depth comprehensive training, you will receive a certificate and become part of a very special group - ordinary people making an extraordinary difference!
Volunteers who visit with patients and families must complete a volunteer training. We also ask that people are not actively grieving a loss.
